Summer Roadtrip, Day 1

Thankfully, Willow, Jack, Jason, and I passed a calm, dull day of driving from Carrollton, GA to Layfayette, LA today. It's my birthday, you know, and I'm 32 now. I got to talk to Lyrica on the phone today. My mother called, but Jason answered while I was driving and listening to a podcast on the expanding role of the librarian. For supper, I chose a Mexican restaurant called El Tequila. On my 10-scale, this place got a 6 or better. On Jason's 10-scale, it got a 2.5. He kept insulting my birthday dinner, so now I get to have a second birthday dinner. Here's a picture of me with my monkeys, trying to enjoy my dinner, in spite of Jason.

it looks like the children are enjoying your birthday dinner and the look in your eyes tells me either you are travel shell shocked or have just returned from meeting a guy with an artistic body art form to help you pick up your birthday assistance celebratory powdery cake decoration which also assists with the travel fatigue and the acceptance of turning 32. Once again I never remembered the right date and should have wished you a happy b-day on the phone yesterday but since we will have a large celebration here using my own cake decorations I am sure you can forgive me. Love, Yo Momma
